At the heart of willbo has always been community…

United by uncommon storylines, shared pursuits and common values, we represent a new voice in the West. 

Bonded through our shared love for the arts, sport and culture. We play on fields and courts, over trails and in water. We express through movement and mediation, song and dance, paint and clay, food and drink, image and design. We live for today and craft for a better tomorrow. We are storytellers that blend timeless cultural themes with modern influences to shape a new style of play. We haunt the furthest corners of the globe and live right around the corner… 

02 STORY

From an early age, I developed a love for sports, history and storytelling. In sports, I enjoyed the balance of physical expression with teamwork. Through history, I found a fascination with facts and imagination as a means for understanding and possibility. With storytelling, I marveled in the power of experience and perspective to shape a more unified world.

When the time came for me to go to college, I knew that CAL would be a perfect place for me to nurture these interests. I pursued sports and made lifelong memories and friends. I studied history and deepened my understanding of the world and my place in it. I gained perspective alongside peers who traveled far and wide to further their education and craft a brighter future. 

When my time in Berkeley came to an end, I knew that people, sport, culture history, tradition and the arts would be at the forefront of my endeavors.

I explored entertainment, filmmaking, photography, marketing and sports management. The journey led me down a path in pursuit of a feeling - and a space where I not only could fulfill my deepest interests, but do so alongside a group of people who shared an ethos & lifestyle.

This became journeux. A stab at a (private) social network designed to foster more meaningful connection through thoughtful products, inspiring stories and unique experiences. I learned a lot during this period of my life. It undoubtedly represents the most difficult chapter of my young life, but shaped me and who I am today. 

03 BRAND

Willbo was born through these early experiences + learnings and reflects the pursuit of connection through community, storytelling and experiences. Our products are an extension of our shared lifestyle and the cultural elements that offer hope, unity and possibility. It, in many ways, serves as a second iteration - a rather familiar, yet scuffed path worth following. 

Since its inception, the most fulfilling part of the journey has come through the unifying nature of the brand and our message. Without fail, I receive messages on weekends from friends, meeting other friends, in faraway places because of a product. (This is the power of brand) Strangers who willingly approach other strangers to strike a conversation in hopes of meeting a friend and developing a connection. (An unfortunate and foreign concept today).

04 CLUBHOUSE

We have long envisioned a space where our community can gather. A space where stories can be shared, inspiration can be found and connection can be made..

Our Laguna store has often been referred to as a clubhouse. - I think that’s more than appropriate. 

We’ve welcomed friends, new and old, into our warm, seaside cottage to foster meaningful relationships and share stories around our collective experiences in life. Our collection of books, souvenirs, treasures and keepsakes reflect these adventures while connecting us to our surroundings and its subsequent history. Willbo products celebrate our shared lifestyle and the unique cultural influences that inspire us & draw us closer. 

05 FORWARD

I’m beyond grateful for this community and the meaningful moments and relationships that have come through it in the infancy of the willbo story. 

And to those who have built, designed and gifted us the space with personal touches and treasures that encapsulate the essence of the brand, honoring our history, culture and lifestyle in the West, thank you. 

I’m truly humbled and inspired to craft alongside you. The New Year has a lot of good in store and I'm so excited to continue our shared story.
